The Board of Trustees of Pratt Community College hereby gives public notice that a vacancy has occurred on the Board of Trustees.

The Board of Trustees of Pratt Community College will appoint a qualified person using its approved selection process to fulfill the unexpired term at its regularly scheduled board meeting to be held at Pratt Community College, Riney Student Center on March 20, 2023.

PTK Holds "Pie Your Professor" Fundraiser

PCC’s Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) honor society held a “Pie Your Professor” fundraiser throughout October and November 2022.

PTK invited students, faculty and staff to vote with bills and coins in the Linda Hunt Memorial Library, placing their money into the jar with the name of a desired candidate they’d like to see get a pie in the face. There are two lucky winners in the contest.

Candidate volunteers included PCC faculty members Carol Ricke, Jerry Thompson, John Patton, Angie Tatro and Kip Chambers.

PCC Welding Holds Open House at New Facility
November 18, 2022

Pratt Community College held an open house on November 15, 2022 to showcase the newly remodeled PCC Welding Technology facility. The shop is located in Pratt, Kansas in the Pratt Regional Airport Industrial Park in the space formerly occupied by Pioneer Tank and Steel.

A ribbon cutting was held shortly after remarks by Kent Adams, VP of Finance at PCC and PCC Welding faculty member and program lead Daryl Lucas. Pratt CC Sees 8 Percent Increase in Fall 2022 Enrollment

(PRATT, KAN.) Despite an overall decrease in enrollment in Kansas public universities and community colleges, enrollment at Pratt Community College is up 8.3% for Fall 2022, as of the 20th day census date.

In September, the Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) released Fall Census numbers showing that Kansas public universities and community colleges as a whole saw a one percent decline in enrollment from this time last year, while technical colleges saw an increase.
