Approximately 185 people joined us on campus at PCC for our Tech Day event.

Tech Day is an opportunity to meet directly with PCC faculty, see our programs and facilities up close and ask questions.

Pratt CC Sees 8 Percent Increase in Fall 2022 Enrollment

(PRATT, KAN.) Despite an overall decrease in enrollment in Kansas public universities and community colleges, enrollment at Pratt Community College is up 8.3% for Fall 2022, as of the 20th day census date.

In September, the Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) released Fall Census numbers showing that Kansas public universities and community colleges as a whole saw a one percent decline in enrollment from this time last year, while technical colleges saw an increase.

The application for federal student loan debt relief opened October 2022.  

The federal student loan debt relief program provides eligible borrowers with full or partial discharge of loans up to $20,000 to Federal Pell Grant recipients and up to $10,000 to non-Pell Grant recipients.

PCC Welding Gets New Building, Named NC3's "School on the Rise"

Pratt CC Welding has a new home! PCC purchased the Pioneer Tank and Steel facility near the airport in Pratt, KS. A lot of time was spent over the summer getting the facility ready and students officially began classes in the new building in the Fall.

In addition to Welding classes, PCC is running a Steel Sales operation out of the facility, with the help of an employee retained from Pioneer Tank and Steel. Pratt Community College is hosting a College Planning Conference on October 26, 2022 from 9am-10:15am at Dennis Lesh Sports Arena.

High school students will have opportunity to meet with numerous colleges and universities to start planning for a college career.

Tech Day is scheduled for November 14, 2024 from 9am to 1pm.
