Program Features
Pratt Community College's Wildlife Outfitting & Operations (WOO)* program is the only associate's degree program in the state of Kansas and one of only two college programs in the nation. WOO graduates will have the knowledge and skills for jobs in the rapidly growing commercial hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation industry.
PCC is located in one of the prime hunting and fishing areas of Kansas. The region is well recognized for its excellent deer, pheasant, turkey and waterfowl hunting. Pratt is the home to the headquarters of the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism. Many KDWPT professionals live in the Pratt area and serve as an outstanding resource of high quality instruction for the WOO program.
