Pratt Community College Announces Formation of Partnership with Barton Community College for ADN Nursing Program

During the quarterly board meeting with the Kansas State Board of Nursing (KBSN), a proposal for Pratt Community College (PCC) to partner with Barton Community College (BCC) for the delivery of the Associate Degree of Nursing (ADN) program on the Pratt Community College campus was approved.

Per the American Red Cross, the need for blood is constant and only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in every community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.

PCC's Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society does their part every year to help fulfill the need.

PTK will host their annual blood drive on Thursday, September 23, 2021 on campus inside Dennis Lesh Arena from 8:30am to 1:30pm.

Six Electrical Power Technology (EPT) students at PCC are craft scholarship recipients, courtesy of Evergy.

To be considered for the two-year renewable scholarship reward, students must be a Kansas or Missouri resident, must be enrolled full-time to pursue a degree in Electric Power and Distribution in Kansas or Missouri, be eligible to earn a Commercial Driver’s License and maintain a 2.5 GPA in the program.

The Linda Hunt Memorial Library on campus at Pratt Community College has a special tradition every school year. They put up a flag that represents the country of students enrolled at PCC.
