A Cox Media crew was on the Pratt Community College campus filming on behalf of the Kansas Board of Regents (KBOR) to showcase energy-related technical training and careers.
PCC's Electrical Power Technology (EPT) program students were training on the "pole farm" with program Director Dave Campbell and instructor Jeff Hoffman.
EPT Students were in a regular afternoon lab session gearing up in safety equipment, climbing utility poles, training on the utility truck and practicing skills in managing power pole components.
KBOR is putting together a series of online promotional videos about jobs in the energy field. We are honored to have been chosen as a filming site for the project!
