Pratt Community College Athletics had the honor of inducting nine former Tennis athletes into the PCC Hall of Fame on October 9, 2021. Those inducted were the 1959 & 1961 NJCAA Tennis National Champions and the 1985-87 All-Region Player.
Great Western Dining catered a meal and a ceremony was held on campus for the inductees and their families.
PCC’s Tennis coach Jeret Johnson was also in attendance as Athletic Director Tim Swartzendruber presented plaques to the inductees.
“I believe this is a tremendous honor and long overdue to have these two teams and individuals inducted into our Athletic Hall of Fame. With PCC reinstating our tennis program I believe the time was right and I have had great response from the inductees on this event. Not only were these teams and individuals successful at tennis at PCC, they have each had successful careers in their chosen field. Being inducted into a Hall of Fame is a great honor and I am very proud to be the Athletic Director here at PCC and oversee the ceremony.”
