2021-2022 PCC Athletic Guidelines

Pratt Community College is committed to providing a safe environment for students, athletes, and spectators. Effective August 9, 2021 and until further notice, the guidelines below will be used to provide a positive experience for each of the groups.
 
Indoor Events (Volleyball, Basketball, Wrestling)

All persons attending an event will be asked to wear a face covering. Social distancing is encouraged. Every other row of bleachers will be used. Concessions will be available. 

Outdoor Events (Baseball, Softball, Soccer, Track, Tennis)

Face coverings are recommended.…
RA Training on Campus at PCC

Resident Assistant (RA) training is happening all week at PCC as we prepare to welcome students back on campus on official Move-In Day on Sunday, August 15.

RA's serve as campus leaders alongside their peers in the residence halls.

Residence Life Director Charles Keefer and Assistant Director Brad Luthe work with Pratt County officials and PCC Personnel to train and prepare RA's for their responsibilities.

The week is spent enjoying "energizer" and team building activities, sharing meals together and taking part in formal trainings.

Pratt Community College Mask Requirement – Effective August 9, 2021

To support our number one priority, the health and safety of College stakeholders, followed by keeping classes, operations, and extra-curricular activities in-person for 2021-2022, the College is taking proactive steps to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 and the Delta variant.

PCC Cheer Hosts Summer Recruit Clinic
July 30, 2021

The Cheer Team at Pratt Community College hosted a cheer clinic on campus at Dennis Lesh Arena.

High school athletes from all over the country were able to stunt and tumble with the PCC Cheer Team, who just placed 2nd overall in the small, coed open division at NJCAA Nationals in Daytona Beach, FL under the direction of coach Shae Napier.

Candidates practiced and received pointers from the PCC squad for the majority of the day, and participated in a late afternoon Q&A session to finish out the day.

EPT Director to Speak at T&D Powerskills Training Conference
July 29, 2021

Philip (Dave) Campbell is the Director of the Electrical Power Technology (EPT) program at PCC. He is revered by students training to be linemen for his standards in teaching the craft, safety and work ethic.

He is well-known throughout the industry, as is the EPT program at PCC.

Campbell was invited by T&D Powerskills to be a presenter, alongside Sales Director Jerry Havens, at the T&D Powerskills Training Conference in New Orleans, March 2022. The topic is College Lineworker Programs - How to Serve Your Community.

Fall 2021 Move-In Information

**Please note that this post and flyers were updated on 8/6/2021, as masks are now required on campus starting Aug 9, 2021.

The official Move-In Day at Pratt Community College for the Fall 2021 Semester is August 15, 2021.

The south entrance to the PCC campus will be clearly marked with welcome flags and tents with drive-thru check-in stations. Other entrances will be blocked off.

Family check-in times are set up in two sessions. The first session from 9am-1pm is for last names beginning with A-K and the second session from 1-5pm is for last names L-Z.
