Longevity Incentive Pay is to recognize long-term service of Pratt Community College
employees.
As of July 1, 2022, employees that have completed one year of continuous service (hire
date) with Pratt Community College will receive a $300 retention payment. Retention
payments will be made based on the payment schedule:
A. Employees completing an odd number of years of continuous service (hire
date) with Pratt Community College between July 1 and November 30 will
receive a payment of $50 per year of service to be paid November 30.
Example: 3 years at $50 per year is $150, 5 years at $50 per year is $250.
B. Employees completing an odd number of years of continuous service (hire
date) with Pratt Community College between December 1 and June 30 will
receive a payment of $50 per year of service to be paid June 30.
C. Longevity pay is subject to all payroll taxes required by law, including KPERS,
will be deducted.
Eligibility
A. Regular full-time and Regular part-time employees .50 FTE and above, both
Classified Hourly and Professional Exempt/non-exempt employees. Payment
for Part-time employees will be prorated according to the individuals’ FTE
status upon the anniversary date.
B. G rant positions are eligible only if written into the Grant.
C. Individuals must be currently employed at the time of payment.
D. Adjunct instructors and temporary workers are not eligible for longevity pay.
E. Federal/Institutional work study students are not considered to be staff
employees and are not eligible for longevity incentive pay.
