IPEDS Cohort: The number of first-time, full-time, degree- or certificate-seeking students entering Pratt Community College (PCC) by the census day for the fall semester.
- First-time: A student who has enrolled in college for the first time after completing high school. (Note: Students enrolled in college courses during high school are not included during their high school tenure; students who enrolled in college courses during high school are considered a member of the college's first-time cohort when they enroll in college for the first time after their high school graduation or successful GED award).
- Full-time: A student enrolled in 12 or more college credit hours during one semester.o
- Degree- or certificate-seeking: A student who has officially identified intent to complete a federal financial aid-eligible certificate or Associate’s degree program.
Graduation Rate: The percentage of IPEDS cohort students who completed a degree or certificate at PCC within 150% (3 academic years) of completion time.
Transfer-out Rate: The percentage of IPEDS cohort student who transferred to another institution prior to completing a degree or certificate at PCC within 150% (3 academic years) of completion time. Transfer-outs are identified via StudentTracker, as service of the National Student Clearinghouse.
