1. The college’s policy is to provide computer equipment in assisting with the conduct of the college's administrative and instructional operations. Requests for the use of the college computer system are subject to the parties' willingness to be governed by college rules and regulations, with the understanding that the college's computer functions are of first priority. Requests from political groups must receive Board approval.
2. All programs and data on the institutional computer system will be reproduced and held under the authority of the college administration. At a minimum, the administration will assure that a plan exists to safeguard critical institutional data.
3. All critical files and data will be backed up to multiple locations. 4. Email/text communications will be archived in accordance with the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure for E-Discovery for a period of six months.
