Level 1: Traditional Host Home

Host student in home from mid-August through mid-May for the academic term, including holidays; specific dates will be confirmed in Letter-of-Agreement

  • A private bedroom for the student
  • Provide student transportation to and from campus
  • Provide the student with two meals daily (breakfast and dinner)
  • Provide use of laundry facilities in home
  • Help your student adapt to your family and to U.S. life and culture
  • Familiarize your student with the city of Pratt and encourage participation in school and community events 

Level 2: Holiday Break Host Home

  • Host student in home in between the fall and spring semesters when residence halls are closed. Typically December 15 through January 7; specific dates will be confirmed in Letter-of-Agreement
  • A private bedroom for the student
  • Provide the student with three meals daily (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
  • Provide use of laundry facilities in home 

Level 3: Community Mentor

  • Student(s) will live on campus, but you will communicate with them on a regular basis and include them in family outings, meals and/or community events at least once a month.
  • Help your student adapt to your community and to U.S. life and culture
  • Familiarize your student with the city of Pratt and encourage participation in school and community events
