Pratt Community College (PCC) was recently designated an “Opportunity College”. In April 2025, the Carnegie Foundation and the American Council on Education announced the new Student Access and Earnings Classification, a unique approach to describing the contributions of postsecondary institutions nationwide. This classification compares similar institutions across the country, identifying whether they provide access to students in communities they serve, and whether those students go on to successful, wealth-generating careers in the regions where they live and work.

Pratt Community College proudly celebrated the achievements of its graduates with two successful Commencement ceremonies held on campus for the Class of 2025. The events marked a joyful conclusion to the academic year, as students, faculty, staff, families, and friends gathered to honor the hard work and accomplishments of this year’s graduating class.

2025 Commencement Ceremonies will be held at Dennis Lesh Sports Arena on Friday, May 16, 2025 at 1pm and 3pm.

The 1pm Ceremony is for AAS graduates and Certificate programs. The 3pm Ceremony is for AA, AS, and AGS graduates.

The ceremony will be live-streamed at gobeaversports.com/links/LiveBroadcasts  -  It is named Pratt CC vs Pratt High School Women's Varsity Volleyball, however it is the Commencement Ceremony and professional photos will be taken and available for purchase at gradimages.com.

Pratt Community College (PCC) is honored to announce the receipt of a transformative gift of $4,375,000 from the Lynda Beck Trust following the passing of Dr. Lynda K. Beck of Exeter, New Hampshire.

Dr. Beck, born on May 12, 1944, in Pratt, Kansas, to Clarence and Hazel (Golden) Beck, was a trailblazer in education and a lifelong advocate for learning.
