Pratt Community College STEM students captivated Skyline High School students on Friday, November 8, 2024, with a dynamic Science Experiment Show that brought science to life through thrilling demonstrations and hands-on activities. Led by the school's dedicated science department, the event gave students an exciting glimpse into the wonders of chemistry, physics, and biology through various engaging experiments.
The show featured eye-catching demonstrations, including explosive chemical reactions, experiments with liquid nitrogen, and interactive displays of the laws of physics. Students also had the chance to participate in their experiments, which allowed them to engage directly with scientific concepts in an inspiring, hands-on way.
"We're thrilled to host events like these that make science accessible and exciting for our students," said Dr. Paul Primrose, Geology/Chemistry teacher. "These experiences deepen their understanding and spark a real passion for learning and discovery."
The Science Experiment Show is part of Pratt Community College's ongoing commitment to STEM education, encouraging students to explore and pursue interests in science, technology, engineering, and math. The school thanks the dedicated staff, volunteers, and community supporters who made this event possible and looks forward to continuing to inspire the next generation of scientists and innovators.
