Three students represented Pratt CC at the Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) luncheon in Junction City, KS. The event honors and recognizes the Kansas All-State Academic Team.

(Shown below, left to right) Jordyn Sanko, Tamara Radovanov and Ethan Paris attended the luncheon with PTK Sponsor Jason Ratcliffe, along with their respective families and multiple PCC representatives.

Students are selected based on outstanding academic achievement as well as accomplishments and services rendered outside the classroom. Each student was recognized with a ribboned medallion and certificate.

The luncheon was held at the Geary County Convention Center and was co-sponsored by Phi Theta Kappa and the Kansas Association of Community College Trustees.

Representatives attending from Pratt Community College included Board of Trustee member Eric Scott Killough, Tammy Killough, VP of Finance & Operations Kent Adams, VP of Students/Enrollment Management Lisa Perez-Miller, Chief Information Officer Jerry Sanko, Student Success Center Office Assistant Tammie Sanko, and instructor and PTK Sponsor Jason Ratcliffe.

Dr. Lynn Tincher-Ladner, Phi Theta Kappa President and CEO, was the keynote speaker. KACCT Executive Director Heather Morgan served as emcee and the presentation and introduction of the Kansas All-State Academic Team was performed by PTK Heartland Regional Coordinator Tammy Fuentez.

For more than 100 years, Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society has helped millions of high-achieving college students reach their full potential. PTK exists to provide recognition for academic excellence and opportunities for all college students to grow as scholars and leaders as early as possible during their pursuit of a college degree or credential.

Kansas is one of 39 states participating in the All-State Academic Team program. The State Academic Teams are a division of the All-USA Community College Academic Team.
