Pratt Community College is thrilled to introduce its newest Board of Trustees member, Mark Morgan, who was officially sworn in on January 22nd, 2024.
Mr. Morgan, a long-time resident of Pratt, has been a valuable member of the community for years. He and his wife founded Morgan Diesel in 1995 and ran the company for 24 years before retiring in 2020. Mr. Morgan earned his associate’s degree from Pratt Community College before going on to earn his bachelor’s degree from Pittsburg State University.
Morgan is committed to utilizing his business and leadership skills to improve the future of Pratt Community College. As a board member, he plans to focus on state-level funding for PCC and to become a vocal advocate for the college within the community. Mr. Morgan has already served on the Pratt Chambers of Commerce and other local committees, and he is eager to devote his full attention to his new role on the PCC Board of Trustees.
In his free time, Mr. Morgan enjoys traveling with his family, boating, fishing, and spending time outdoors. One of his most notable trips was a Jeep tour in Colorado.
The PCC Board of Trustees is excited to welcome Trustee Morgan and looks forward to working with him to improve the college's future.
