KANSAS COMMUNITY COLLEGES REPORT FULL DORMS, RISING ENROLLMENT

Pratt, Kan. – Pratt Community College is thrilled to announce for the third year in a row we have had enrollment growth.  The surge in enrollment reflects the college's continued dedication to providing an outstanding educational experience, fostering innovation, and supporting the diverse needs of its students. This increase also highlights the institution’s expanding reputation as a leader in higher education.

“As we look to start the fall semester, we are currently up four percent after a very robust summer increase. We are very excited for prospects.” said Dr. Michael Calvert, President of Pratt CC. “Resident Halls are just under capacity and we are pleased with on campus enrollment. We have really seen growth in the online arena.”

In addition to welcoming a larger student body, Pratt CC is investing in facilities, resources, and programs to ensure a supportive and enriching academic experience. Highlights include a new Electrical Power Technology (EPT) building that will include classrooms, faculty offices and a computer lab.  Pratt Community College has also added a Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) program that is already at capacity.  Pratt CC was also earned the title of the #3 community college in the United States, according to WalletHub.  WalletHub evaluates over 650 community colleges nationwide using 18 key criteria related to cost and quality.

As the academic year unfolds, Pratt Community College will continue to prioritize student success, community engagement, and academic innovation. The college looks forward to celebrating the achievements of our scholars and supporting their journey toward a bright and promising future.
