PCC to Host Annual Auction

15 April 2014

Join Pratt Community College on April 25 for the annual foundation auction, a fundraiser that supports the scholarship fund for PCC students. This year the theme is “Under the Big Top” and the evening festivities include dinner, raffles, a silent auction and a live auction, as well as a thrilling performance by PCC’s own vocal ensemble, Encore!.

The event will be held at the Pratt 4-H Center and doors open at 6 p.m. The meal including grilled chicken and pulled pork sandwiches, tossed salad, new potatoes, nachos and popcorn begins at 6:30 p.m.

Some live auction items include a fish fry for 30, a round of golf with PCC President Michael Calvert, and a one-year family membership to the Sedgwick County Zoo. During the silent auction, attendees will have the chance to bid for assorted live trees and shrubs, framed artwork, gift certificates from local restaurants, and more. Pictured here are some of the items available for purchase.

“The most exciting additions to this year’s auction are the introduction of games,” said PCC Foundation Director Ann Ruder. “Everyone goes to the carnival to play games for big prizes, and this is no exception.”

Raffle games including bingo and playing card drawings give attendees the chance to win diamond earrings, a Samsung Smart TV, and an iPad mini.

Tickets are $25 for individuals and $40 for couples. Tickets will be sold beforehand and at the door, but seating is limited. Reserve your tickets by contacting Ruder at 620-450-2179.
