Along with a great team of three PCC STEM club students, PCC faculty members Jason Ghumm, Justin Maughan and Paul Primrose presented the wonders of science in an hour long science show to about forty 3rd and 4th grade kids at the Pratt Public Library on the 20th of April.

It was the second science show of its kind in the spring of 2023. Judging from the many subsequent comments kids shared with Eric Killough, the director of the Pratt Public Library, it seems that the science show was a great hit.

There were expanding marshmallows, suspended beach balls, erupting soap suds and many other cool physics and chemistry demos; many of which were led by the PCC STEM students. We look forward to the fall of 2023 and are excited about bringing this show to other service areas for Pratt Community College.
