PCC Statement Regarding ADN Nursing Program

At the June 16 quarterly meeting of the Kansas State Board of Nursing (KSBN), Pratt Community College (PCC) Administration was notified that the conditional approval of the PCC Associate Degree Nursing Program (ADN) has been withdrawn.  This means that PCC is no longer approved to teach the ADN Nursing Program effectively immediately. This action is primarily a result of PCC consistently not meeting the state required pass rates of the National Council Licensure Examination-RN (NCLEX), which states that a minimum of 75% of students…

eSports Now Official NJCAA Sport at PCC

Competitive, organized gaming, also known as eSports, just got an upgrade at Pratt Community College.

It is now an NJCAA-sanctioned activity at Pratt Community College under the Athlatics department.

"We are excited to bring eSports under the athletics umbrella," said Pratt Community College athletic director Tim Swartzendruber. "With NJCAA now sponsoring eSports, it makes sense for us. PCC Offers Summer Session CDL Class for EPT Students

It is a requirement for Electrical Power Technology (EPT) students to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License as they study to become a lineman. This type of license is required in order to operate utility trucks and trailers out in the field.

Students ordinarily earn their CDL during the regular semester, while also handling a full course load plus potential activities and athletics.

Face Covering Policy Change Effective May 24, 2021

Effective May 24 through August 1st, 2021 face coverings are recommended, not required, to be worn throughout campus and in college vehicles unless physical/social distancing cannot be maintained. Campus facility capacities, other than classrooms, will be capped at 40% during the summer or through August 1. Classrooms will continue to maintain six-feet distancing and spaces arranged accordingly.

PCC Summer Hours 2021

Summer 2021 hours for campus offices at Pratt Community College have been designated as follows: 
 
Summer hours begin Monday, May 24, 2021 and will extend through Friday, July 30, 2021.
 
Operating hours are: 

7:45 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.  Monday through Thursday
8:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. on Fridays 

Please plan accordingly for the short business day on Fridays.
