Faculty, Staff, and Community Members Gather to Welcome Incoming PCC President
PRATT, Kan. — Pratt Community College was proud to host a President’s Meet & Greet on October 1, bringing together members of the campus and greater Pratt community for an evening of connection and celebration in honor of PCC President Dr. Carl B. Smalls.
The day began with an afternoon reception exclusively for PCC faculty and staff, providing employees the opportunity to visit with Dr. Smalls and spend time together as a campus community. That evening, PCC opened its doors to members of the greater Pratt community for a second reception, welcoming residents and supporters who came out to meet their new college president.
Both events saw a wonderful turnout, and Pratt Community College is incredibly grateful to everyone who took the time to attend, welcome Dr. Smalls, and show their support for the institution. The strong attendance served as a powerful reminder of the deep connection that exists between PCC and the community it proudly calls home.
“Thursday was about connection — connecting with our faculty, staff, students, and community. I’m grateful for the warm welcome and for the opportunity to listen, build relationships, and continue this journey together,” said Dr. Carl B. Smalls, President of Pratt Community College.
Pratt Community College looks forward to continuing to grow and strengthen its connection to the community under Dr. Smalls’ leadership.
