Get to Know Barton Nursing: Open House Comes to Pratt Community College Nov. 9

Thinking about a career in nursing? Barton Community College’s nursing program is opening its doors in Pratt. The “Get to Know Barton Nursing!” Open House runs from 5 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 9, 2026, in Chandler Hall on the Pratt Community College campus.

The event gives prospective students a close-up look at what it takes to become a nurse. Guests can tour the classrooms and nursing labs, where nursing students learn hands-on patient care skills. They can also meet the instructors who will guide them through the program.

Faculty and staff will lead a pre-planning session on prerequisite requirements, so attendees leave knowing which courses to take and when. Staff will also be on hand to help with the application process, one-on-one. Giveaways round out the evening.
