Performing Arts students travel to Tennessee

On May 10, 16 members of the Performing Arts Department left Pratt and headed to Tennessee to celebrate another successful semester. Residence Hall named after President Dr. Wojciechowski

On May 13, Pratt Community College’s Board of Trustees showed their appreciation to President Dr. William Wojciechowski by changing the name of East Hall to Dr. William Wojciechowski Hall.
After working at the college for 24 years, Wojciechowski announced in March that he would be retiring.

PCC Summer Hours Monday - Thursday 7:45 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.; Friday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Pratt Community College is starting summer operating hours on  May 20 and they will run until Aug. 2. Summer hours will be Monday through Thursday 7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. and on Friday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Each year Pratt Community College recognizes faculty and staff who have gone above and beyond throughout the school year.
This year, Stephanie Wiese, English instructor at PCC for 13 years, was the recipient of the Professional Higher Education Association Instructor of the Year Award.

(Pratt, Kan.) I was doing the same kind of work while stationed in Iraq. At PCC, the instructors are knowledgeable and have great credentials. This will open up new avenues for me and will help build my resume.

Advice for Prospective Students

Plan early for Nursing Program admission. Meet with a nursing advisor, ideally a year in advance, to develop a plan of study. The Nursing Program will challenge you to be your best, as we have high expectations for students. We all want quality nurses caring for us!
