Information Network Technology

Program Features

The Information Network Technology Program is perfect for students passionate about computers and who want to turn that passion into a career or those who know they want to be in this rapidly growing industry but have no prior experience. The program is designed to build a foundation and skills necessary for completing the CompTIA (Computing Technology Industry Association) Certifications in Computer Technology A+, Networking Technology N+ and Information Technology Security S+.

Wildlife Outfitting & Operations

Program Features

Pratt Community College's Wildlife Outfitting & Operations (WOO)* program is the only associate's degree program in the state of Kansas and one of only two college programs in the nation. WOO graduates will have the knowledge and skills for jobs in the rapidly growing commercial hunting, fishing and outdoor recreation industry.

Allied Health

In the Allied Health area, a number of short term courses are offered to provide education for employment in a variety of health care settings. Training prepares students to take state exams for certification.

Courses are offered online, ground at PCC campus, evening courses and courses for current high school students.

Accounting and Business

Program Features

The Accounting and Business Department of Pratt Community College has a mission of providing students educational experiences and opportunities to meet their diverse and changing needs. The Accounting and Business Department offers courses that enable the student to transfer to a four-year college or university or to prepare for and obtain employment. It also provides continuous training and education, which allows professionals to update their skills and remain competitive in the job market.ACBSP only accredits Associate degree programs.

Agriculture Power Technology

Program Features

The Agricultural Power Technology (APT) Program offers an Associate of Applied Science Degree that prepares students for a career as an agricultural technician. With this degree, the graduate has the option of continuing their education to earn a Bachelor's degree, or go directly into the workforce.

APT is supported by major corporations such as: John Deere, Case/IH, New Holland, Caterpillar and AGCO, with 86 dealerships statewide providing internship options. 

Agriculture

Program Features

PCC offers an agriculture program that has the great advantage of being located in South Central Kansas, one of the world's most productive agricultural regions. Students are able to work first hand with livestock and in production situations instead of just learning skills and theories in a classroom.Through a variety of partnerships with area industry, students have opportunities to experience the learning on a daily basis.This focus on hands-on training is apparent in the classroom.

Nursing

The Pratt Community College Nursing Program offers both a Practical Nursing (PN-LPN) Certificate and an Associate in Applied Science in Nursing Degree (ADN-RN). The PCC Nursing Programs offer students a variety of convenient ways to attend classes through on campus courses located in Pratt and Winfield, Kansas along with distance education.

Electrical Power Technology

Program Features

Pratt Community College offers one of the most comprehensive Electrical Power Lineman Programs in the nation. One of only three in the state of Kansas, it offers students a variety of convenient ways to attend classes through on campus courses, distance education and on the job training. The program is offered at three locations: Pratt, Coffeyville, Wichita and Online.
