PCC Patient Care Technician Program Now Eligible for Kansas Promise Act Scholarship
Kansas Promise Act Scholarship Opens the Door to a Healthcare Career — Tuition Covered for Eligible Students
PRATT, Kan. — Pratt Community College (PCC) is pleased to announce that its Patient Care Technician (PCT) program is now eligible for the Kansas Promise Act Scholarship, providing financial support for students pursuing workforce programs in high-demand fields. This designation makes the PCT program more accessible than ever for students across the region looking to launch a career in healthcare.
Additionally, PCT courses are now Excel in CTE eligible, allowing qualified high school students to enroll in the program with tuition fully covered — though fees still apply. Students who complete the program earn stackable, industry-recognized certifications that serve as a strong foundation for careers in nursing and other healthcare professions, positioning them for long-term advancement in one of the nation’s fastest-growing sectors.
