History

Between the wars, the inequities, the secrets, the curiosities, and the scandals, history can be fascinating. With Humanities as your area of study and History as your emphasis, you can expand your understanding of human development and be prepared for additional study at a four-year institution. In addition to taking fascinating, in-depth courses, you will gain practical skills, such as critical thinking, objectivity, argumentation, research, and the ability to work with and analyze historical documents. The skills and knowledge you gain will make you a well-rounded graduate ready for transfer.
