Pratt Community College Launches Presidential Search

PRATT, Kan. — Pratt Community College (PCC) has officially launched the search for its next President, seeking a visionary and collaborative leader to guide the institution into its next chapter of growth and success.

Located in the heart of south-central Kansas, Pratt Community College is a student-centered institution committed to academic excellence, workforce development, and community enrichment. The College serves a diverse eight-county region and offers more than 40 programs of study, including nationally recognized liberal arts and technical education pathways leading to degrees and certificates.

The President serves as the chief executive officer of the College and will provide strategic, operational, and visionary leadership for the institution. Key priorities for the role include advancing student success, maintaining enrollment stability, ensuring financial stewardship, and strengthening partnerships that support regional economic and workforce development.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to student achievement, community engagement, financial sustainability, and collaborative leadership. PCC is seeking an individual with the ability to foster partnerships with industry, K-12 education, four-year institutions, and regional stakeholders while championing the mission of the College.

Applications are open now and will be accepted through June 5, 2026. Candidates are asked to submit an application, resume or curriculum vitae, cover letter, transcripts, letters of reference, and a vision statement outlining their philosophy of leadership and thoughts on student success, workforce development, and community engagement.
