Performing arts hosts entertainment events through end of semester

The Pratt Community College Performing Arts department is gearing up for the end of the semester with a handful of shows full of music and entertainment including the Finale Concert, Encore! Christian Show, a new show titled Skits, Improv and Who Knows What? and ending the year with Battling for Barrett, a fundraising and awareness concert.
Sunday, April 28, the PCC Performing Arts department invites community and students to attend the annual Finale Concert. This show will feature Encore, PCC choir and the band. The concert begins at 2:30 p.m. in Carpenter Auditorium and tickets will be sold at the door for $5.
Later Sunday join the Encore group at the Front Porch in Pratt for a variety of Christian music and fellowship. The show will start at 7 p.m. Coffee and tea will be served so come early.
As the semester comes to a close, PCC students and the Pratt community are invited to Carpenter Auditorium as the Performing Arts departments hosts three nights of ‘Skits, Improv and Who Knows What?’ The show will debut Friday May 3 at 7:30 p.m., Saturday May 4 at 7:30 p.m. and the final Sunday show is at 2:30 p.m.
Last but certainly not least join PCC’s Collegiate Farm Bureau, Encore and friends of our very own Agriculture Instructor, Barrett Smith, as they host ‘Battling for Barrett’, a fundraising and awareness concert in honor of Ag instructor Barrett Smith and his search for a new O Positive kidney. This event will include a lot of great music (country, classic rock and more), a silent auction, desserts and more.
The concert, hosted at The Front Porch, is set for May 7 at 7:30 p.m. Doors will open early as silent auction will begin immediately.
