Five Pratt Community College Collegiate Farm Bureau students attended the Kansas Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers Conference in Manhattan this past weekend, accompanied by sponsor Jackie Mundt. During the conference, students participated in a variety of hands-on learning and leadership opportunities, including: Workshops and keynote sessions designed to help young agricultural professionals grow their skills and expand their industry network; A tour of the diagnostics laboratory at the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine; Quiz Bowl competition, where the PCC team earned two wins, the most matches won by any chapter. Additional student highlights included strong performances in the Discussion Meet competition. Garrett Lanning and Anakyn Smith represented PCC, with Garrett advancing to the final round and earning 2nd place overall in the state. We are proud of our students for representing PCC with excellence and enthusiasm in the agricultural industry!
