Vice President of Instruction Monette DePew Appointed Interim President

During a special board meeting held January 27, 2026, the Board of Trustees of Pratt Community College appointed Monette DePew, Vice President of Instruction, to serve as Interim President, effective immediately. DePew began her career at PCC as an English Composition, literature, and speech instructor.  In addition to her classroom role, DePew has served as a department chair and as the PCC liaison for the College’s accrediting agency, the Higher Learning Commission. She has also been an active member of several committees: Instructional Council, Services and Programs under Review, Pratt Online Review Team, and Faculty Assessment of Learning Committee. She is currently a member of the Kansas Board of Regents Transfer and Articulation Council.  She moved to her current Vice President of Instruction role in 2019.
