PCC Hosts 17 Area Schools for Academic Olympics

More than 500 high school students filled Dennis Lesh Sports Arena at Pratt Community College to participate in the annual Academic Olympics event. Area high schools are invited to PCC to “compete” against one another academically.

Students take written tests and submit entries in a variety of categories, judged by PCC faculty and staff. Testing categories include English, Math, Sciences, Foreign Language, Animal Science, Creative Writing, Journalism and many others.

Face Coverings at PCC Recommended, not Required Effective February 22, 2022

Effective today, February 22, 2022, face coverings are recommended, not required, to be worn throughout campus and in college vehicles.

A face covering and/or social distancing may be required in designated campus locations (classrooms, meeting rooms, office areas, etc.) as determined by a campus official (faculty, staff, administrator).

PCC Hosts All-Girl Welding Clinic at Kingman High School

Pratt Community College hosted an all-girl Welding clinic at Kingman High School.

The clinic was hosted by PCC Welding Technology instructors Jason Birkenbaugh and Daryl Lucas and current Pratt CC welding students.

While all students are invited to check out our outstanding Welding Technology programs, some need a little more of a welcome to get comfortable. And the young ladies had no problem jumping right in!

We have a variety of online and on-campus classes to choose from, including the Graphic Design courses below led by instructor Valarie Dellrocco.
