Academic Scholarships
Academic Scholarships
Academic scholarships are given to Kansas residents demonstrating academic achievement. Students must meet all PCC minimum scholarship requirements and policies.
Presidential Above & Beyond Scholarship:
- In-State Residents Only
- Must have minimum ACT score of 23 and meet 2 of the following criteria.
- ACT score of 25 or higher,
- class rank in top 10%,
- high school GPA of 3.6 or higher.
- Application requirements:
- Online scholarship application,
- copy of high school transcript with grades from the fall semester of senior year,
- ACT scores,
- letter of recommendation from high school counselor or principal, and
- applicant letter stating why you feel you are deserving of the award (include school activities, academic achievements, community volunteer activities, etc.)
- All documents must be attached to the online application or sent to Cathy Blasi, Pratt Community College, 348 NE SR 61, Pratt KS 67124.
- Scholarship requirements:
- Maintain a minimum of 16 credit hours per semester
- **For 2022-2023 the Community Service Requirement has been waived** Complete 50 hours of Community Service within the academic year.
Pratt County Senior Grant Scholarship
- Pratt County Senior Level 1
- Graduate of any high school in Pratt County, Kansas in the past two years maintaining a GPA 2.0 or higher.
- Maintain a minimum of 16 credit hours per semester.
- **For 2022-2023 the Community Service Requirement has been waived** Complete 25 hours of Community Service within the academic year.
- Pratt County Senior Level 2
- Graduate of any high school in Pratt County, Kansas in the past two years maintaining a maintain a GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Maintain a minimum of 16 credit hours per semester.
- **For 2022-2023 the Community Service Requirement has been waived** Complete 50 hours of Community Service within the academic year.

PCC grants numerous departmental academic scholarships each year in the following areas and are awarded by the individual departments.
