Canvas Instructions

In order to take online courses, high school students must complete the required steps for admissions and enrollment. New students will fill out an online College Start Application to apply and all students must complete an enrollment form with the College Start Coordinator or their high school counselor. Logging into Canvas:

All PCC students will receive an invitation for their Canvas courses. The course invitation will be sent to their PCC email.  The Canvas login information will be the same as the student’s Self-Service login. To access your courses, you will have to accept all course invitations.  Please follow the directions below for each of your courses.

  1.  You will receive an email from Pratt Community College - Canvas <notifications@instructure.com> (If you do not receive an invitation in your inbox, please check your junk mail.)
  2. Inside the email body double click 'Get Started'. 
  3. After you double click Get Started, it will open Canvas in Internet Explorer.  Please copy and paste the link for Canvas to your Google Chrome browser.
  4. Log into Canvas.  Once you’re logged in, it will prompt you to the Canvas Dashboard. All accepted courses will appear on your Canvas Dashboard.
  5. Bookmark this page for your convenience.

If you are having problems logging in or accessing your Canvas courses, please contact pccadmissions@prattcc.edu for assistance.  In the email, please include your full name, student ID, contact information, and the issue you are having.
