Several members of the KSN TV crew will be making a tour stop in Pratt as they travel to Kansas towns this week to broadcast live during their newscasts. It's all a part of the KSN Summer Road Trip tour.

Pratt Community College will be on site where they will be located at Lemon Park, along with the City of Pratt and Pratt Regional Medical Center on July 15, 2021. 

The KSN crew will be broadcasting live at 5pm and 6pm.

The Performing Arts department held their Summer Music Theatre Camp. For two weeks, campers of all ages rehearsed and practiced their parts for the Frozen musical performance.

At the June 16 quarterly meeting of the Kansas State Board of Nursing (KSBN), Pratt Community College (PCC) Administration was notified that the conditional approval of the PCC Associate Degree Nursing Program (ADN) has been withdrawn.  This means that PCC is no longer approved to teach the ADN Nursing Program effectively immediately. This action is primarily a result of PCC consistently not meeting the state required pass rates of the National Council Licensure Examination-RN (NCLEX), which states that a minimum of 75% of students taking…

Competitive, organized gaming, also known as eSports, just got an upgrade at Pratt Community College.

It is now an NJCAA-sanctioned activity at Pratt Community College under the Athlatics department.

"We are excited to bring eSports under the athletics umbrella," said Pratt Community College athletic director Tim Swartzendruber. "With NJCAA now sponsoring eSports, it makes sense for us. Chris Nelson has done a great job of starting and building a successful eSports program here at PCC. We look forward to continuing that success."

It is a requirement for Electrical Power Technology (EPT) students to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License as they study to become a lineman. This type of license is required in order to operate utility trucks and trailers out in the field.

Students ordinarily earn their CDL during the regular semester, while also handling a full course load plus potential activities and athletics.

For the first time, students are able to take advantage of this offering over the summer, to focus solely on fulfilling the driving requirements before entering the EPT program.
