Women's Basketball Signs Four

13 May 2014

Pratt Community College women’s basketball is happy to announce the signing of four out-of-state athletes.

Taneasha Rhode will join the Beavers after a successful high school career at Boswell High School in Fort Worth, Texas. Point guard Jazzmen Ortiz of Temple, Texas will battle for the starting point guard spot following the graduation of PCC's Maddie Pendry. Dominique Broadus of St. Louis, Mo. will be a force in the paint for the Beavers in 2014-2015, and Jada Jones of St. Paul, Minn. will battle for minutes in the guard spot. Jones played on a highly successful high school team at St. Paul Central High School.

"These four athletes will play a big part in the Beavers' success next season," said Head Coach Stephanie Thompson. "I'm thrilled to add them to our roster."
