Track Finishes Indoor Season

22 February 2014

The Pratt track teams concluded their indoor season at the NJCAA Region VI meet held at Kansas University on Friday, Feb. 21. While neither team was able to gain a point in the meet by placing in the top eight, the nine Beaver freshmen gained invaluable experience for the 2015 campaign.

The men’s mid-distance crew of Trae Lane (Mile), Cody McVey (400/800), Steven Balser (400), and Darius Slaughter (400) continued to show improvement, as all four men ran to season best times in their respective events.

The first outdoor meet for the Beavers is on March 13 at the Southwestern Invitational in Winfield, Kan.
