PCC and City Track and Soccer Facility Progress is Making Strides

Over the course of the last two and a half years, the Pratt Community College Foundation along with the City of Pratt have endeavored to build a Track and Soccer Facility adjacent to the Green Sports Complex (baseball and softball) on the southeast side of Pratt.

PCC foundation announces million dollar challenge

 With $300,000 raised and a $1 million challenge grant in place, The Pratt Community College Foundation has launched a capital campaign to build a track and field complex.
 
“We are pleased to announce that the Foundation is working to secure funding for this important project,” says Foundation Board and Campaign Committee Member Gregg Lesh of Wichita.  “The project will benefit not only the Community College, but Skyline and Pratt school students as well. We are excited to have a privately funded $1 million challenge grant to help us reach our goal.” 
 

Jamaal Barnes hired as new track and field coach

Pratt Community College Director of Athletics Bill Wilson announced the hiring of Jamaal Barnes as the new head track and field and assistant cross country coach of the Beavers. Barnes brings quality experience to the Blue and White.

"We are excited to have Jamaal join the PCC family," Wilson said. "With his NCAA division I background, he understands the caliber of student athlete it takes to be successful in the Jayhawk Conference."
