The upset minded PCC Women's Basketball Team put together a superb opening 15 minutes to lead the Cowley Tigers 15-14, but a late first half surge gave Cowley a lead they would not relinquish, resulting in a 37-56 loss for the Beavers.  The loss ended the Beavers season at 13-18.  The #22 ranked Tigers improved to 24-7 and will play Seward County on Friday in Wichita. With all five starters scoring in double figures, the PCC Women's Basketball Team had no trouble with the visiting Colby Trojans on Wednesday night, dispatching  the visitors 70-56.    With the win, Pratt improved to 2-7 and 12-11.  Colby fell to 3-6 and 8-15.

Despite shooting almost fifty percent from the field and having four players in double figure scoring, the Lady Beavers could not capitalize on their superb offensive game, falling to Barton County 70-87.  With the loss, Pratt fell to 1-9 and 11-11.  Barton improved to 5-3, 13-9.

The PCC Women's Basketball Team swept Dodge City on Saturday night, picking up a crucial win for playoff seeding.  After a relatively close first half, Pratt used a huge rebounding advantage to control the game in the second half, cruising to a 73-58 win.  Pratt improved to 3-9, 13-13, while Dodge fell to 0-12, 7-19. The PCC Women’s Basketball Team fell to Garden City on Wednesday, 60-66. The Beavers led by three at the half, but never found an offensive rhythm in the second half.   Pratt and Garden now share identical records of 1-4 in conference and 11-8 overall.

The PCC Women's Basketball Team could not keep pace with Cloud County's shooting on Wednesday night, falling 57-88.  The loss was Pratt's second since beginning Jayhawk Conference play last week.  Cloud County moved to 3-0 in the conference.
