Softball Defeated by Hutch 9-1

The Pratt Community College softball team collected five hits, but fell 9-1 to Hutchinson at Pratt on Monday.

Hutchinson couldn't get anything going as long as Emily Wooldridge was pitching. Wooldridge held Hutchinson hitless over 1 2/3 innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out one.

H Kelley recorded the win for Hutchinson. She allowed one run over five innings. She struck out six, walked one and surrendered five hits.
Hutchinson was sparked by S Loos and H Kelley, who teamed up for three hits and four RBIs.

Softball Falls to Butler

The Pratt Community College softball team fell 16-1 to Butler at El Dorado on Wednesday.

K McMullin got the win for Butler. She allowed one run over five innings. She struck out 10, walked three and surrendered three hits. Lauryn Schooler took the loss for The Beavers. She allowed six runs in one inning, walked three and struck out none.

Butler added eight more runs in the bottom of the second. G Bogle's single got things going, bringing home M Heckart. The Beavers scored its only run of the game on an error in the fifth inning.

Dodge City wins 5-2 final contest in El Paso
Anna Plante did all she could to give The Beavers a boost, but it wasn't enough to get past Dodge City, as The Beavers lost 5-2 in seven innings at El Paso on Sunday.
Plante racked up two RBIs on two hits for The Beavers. She singled in the fourth inning and doubled in the sixth inning.
J Mecham got the win for Dodge City. She allowed two runs over six innings. Mecham struck out five, walked four and gave up 10 hits.

Softball

Two losses to Seward 10-3 and 3-0 despite good efforts send Pratt back to Seward next Tuesday for first round of playoffs. Last season game is Wednesday at Barton 4 and 6 show up if you can it is going to be a battle!
