Men's Soccer Competes in Spring Tournament

Your Pratt men’s soccer team competed in a 6v6 outdoor tournament at McPherson College on April 12. Two teams composed of Pratt players competed against a field of 22 total teams representing NCAA D-I and D-II, NAIA, NCSAA, and NJCAA competitive and club programs.

In Pool A, PCC defeated Emporia State 9-4, lost to McPherson College 5-1 and defeated Kansas State - Salina 16-4.

In Pool D, PCC lost to Southwestern College 8-7, defeated Central Christian College 12-3 and tied 6-6 against the FC Gatos Verdes, the McPherson College Alumni team.

Women's Soccer Competes in Outdoor Tournaments

The Pratt Community College women’s soccer team competed in two 6v6-style outdoor tournaments on April 12 and 13 as part of their off season training.

On Saturday, the team played at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kan. Pratt defeated Tabor College 5-4, fell to Southwestern Oklahoma College 8-5, and also fell to Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, 5-4.

Men's Soccer Takes Tournament Title

Your Beaver Men’s Soccer program sent two teams, one consisting of all Freshmen and the other of all Sophomores, to compete in Hesston College’s annual 6v6 Indoor tournament in Hesston, Kan. on Feb. 15. PCC was one of two junior colleges there with four other four year schools rounding out the field.

The freshman team went 3-1 in group play (PCC-4/Central Cristian-1; PCC-1/Bethel-2; PCC-5/Hesston-2). Pratt’s freshmen finished second in their group behind Bethel College.

Women's Soccer Begins Strong Spring Campaign

Your PCC women’s soccer team competed in a 6v6 indoor tournament in Hesston, Kan. on Feb. 8. The team went 3-1 in group play (PCC-2/Hesston-1; PCC-5/Garden CC-1; PCC-1/Butler CC-5; PCC-6/Southwestern College-1).

The Lady Beavers finished second in their group, behind only Butler CC, and advancing to the knockout rounds, where they fell to Hesston Alumni 1-2.

PCC Athletes Named to All-Academic Team

Pratt Community College is proud to announce that 19 student-athletes have been named to the KJCCC All-Academic Team for the Fall 2013 semester. Each semester, the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference recognizes the athletes who have earned a 3.50 GPA and above.

Snyder Receives All-Region Honors

The Pratt Community College Women’s Soccer Team is proud to announce that forward Lauren Snyder has been named to the 2014 NJCAA All-Region VI Second Team. Only 22 players from the region are honored, making Snyder one of the top five strykers in the region. Snyder is the first PCC women’s soccer player to receive NJCAA honors at the regional level. Her individuals stats in include 11 goals (single season record for PCC) and five assists (27 offensive points which is also PCC women’s soccer record). Snyder is a freshman from Broomfield, Colo.

PCC Soccer Players Honored

Pratt Community College is proud to announce that two members of the soccer team, Lauren Snyder and Jonothan Callaghan, have been named to the 2013 Jayhawk All-Conference team.

Snyder is a freshman forward from Broomfield, Colo. and received honorable mention for her for her eight goals and three assists during the 2013 season. Snyder is the first field player in PCC women’s soccer history to be honored on the All-Conference team.
