Performing arts presents, "A Christmas to Remember" Dec. 8-10

Pratt Community College’s Performing Arts department will have the annual Christmas show to help kick off the season on Dec. 8-10.

‘A Christmas to Remember,’ will feature two extraordinary acts encompassing all of your favorite holiday tunes and the true meaning of Christmas.

The show will feature solos, duets, the ensemble and full community choir. There will also be children’s numbers.

“It promises to be a fun show with the classic favorites and also some new music,” said Misty Beck, show director.

Performing arts presents, "A Night on Broadway" Oct. 20-22

On Oct. 21-22  Pratt Community College Performing Arts department will be presenting ‘A Night on Broadway’.

The show is the department’s annual musical Review show, which features music from dozens of Broadway classics and modern shows. This years show will feature a variety of broadway tunes from Camelot to Addams Family to Les Miserables. It will feature solos, duets, the ensemble and full choir. There will also be children’s numbers.

PCC Performing Arts presents My Son Pinocchio

The Pratt Community College Performing Arts Department will be performing My Son Pinocchio for their spring show.

The show is a full scale Disney musical based on the movie “Gephetto”. The classic tale of toymaker, Geppetto's, little wooden puppet is given new life. This new musical, which retells the classic Disney story from Geppetto's perspective, features the beloved classic songs, "When You Wish upon a Star" and "I've Got No Strings," alongside a host of new songs by Oscar- and Grammy Award winner and master melodist, Stephen Schwartz who also composed the musical “Wicked”.

PCC Performing Arts department presents Aida

The Pratt Community College Performing Arts Department is pleased to present Disney’s Elton John and Tim Rice musical, Aida.

The story is about Egypt enslaving the city of Nubia and the great power’s prince, Radames (Colter Hawks). He is engaged to the fashionable Amneris (Brittnee Hill). However, when Aida (Carina Temores), the princess of Nubia, comes to the palace as a slave, love turns everything upside down and leads everyone down paths they never could have imagined.

Elton John and Tim Rice's contemporary take on a classic. Ages 5 and up are welcome to audition.
