Pratt Community College announces their hours for the Summer of 2017.

Summer hours begin Monday, May 22, 2017 and will extend through Friday, July 28, 2017. Operating business hours will be  7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday.

PCC employees begin local leadership class

Two Pratt Community College employees are committing to developing their personal and professional leadership skills as a part of Pratt Leadership 2000 plus. Megan Eaton, coordinator of marketing communications and community relations, and Stacey Davies, personnel assistant, recently began the Pratt leadership 2000 plus class. Eaton and Davies will be involved in one class a month from September to March. They will then complete a three day conference at the Kansas Leadership Center in Wichita, KS before graduating in May of 2017.

Miller and McAfee Participate in Leadership Development

Two Pratt Community College administrators have been accepted into the inaugural class of the Kansas Community College Leadership Institute (KCCLI). Lisa Perez Miller, vice president of students / enrollment management, and Kurt McAfee, athletic director, are among the 22 participants selected after nominations by their institutions.

Pratt Community College is currently seeking students to serve as Student Admissions Representatives. This is the third year of the program, and spaces are now available for students who want to learn about public relations, event promotion, recruiting and mentoring. 

PCC Presents Awards at Pratt County 4-H Banquet

On Nov. 1, Pratt Community College was proud to present the I Dare You Award at the annual Pratt County 4-H Achievement Banquet.

The I Dare You Award recognizes character and leadership in students who go above and beyond their 4-H responsibilities. The two recipients of this year’s award were Kahrie Stegman of the Southwest 4-H Club and Austin Black of the Glendale Reapers 4-H Club.
