Pratt Community College announces their hours for the Summer of 2017.

Summer hours begin Monday, May 22, 2017 and will extend through Friday, July 28, 2017. Operating business hours will be  7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday.

PCC eSports team joins intercollegiate gaming league

The Pratt Community College eSports program is making preparations for the start of their team this Fall semester and have already been accepted into the intercollegiate gaming league known as the Collegiate StarLeague (CSL).
 
The Collegiate StarLeague is a gaming league open to all accredited colleges and universities in North America and Europe. CSL currently organizes leagues for competitive online video games like League of Legends which the PCC eSports team will focus on starting out.

In December, Pratt Community College announced the revival of the Information Networking Technology (INT) program and the addition of a new club sport being added to the college’s roster. The new activity is called eSports and PCC will be rolling out the virtual carpet to new and current students interested in using their gaming skills at a competitive level.

Pratt Community College is adding a new varsity program to their roster and it’s not your typical sport. It’s called eSports and PCC will be rolling out the virtual carpet to new and current students who are interested in the fall 2016 term. eSports, unlike the traditional athletic sport, is a new venture colleges all over the country, and the world, are adopting and implementing into their athletic and academic programs and organizations. It’s the sport of competitive video gaming and Pratt CC is on board.
