Physical Science instructor Paul Primrose joins PCC faculty

Paul Primrose is joining Pratt Community College from an extensive science career. He earned his B.S. in chemistry from Northern Arizona University in 1993, then went on to earn his doctorates in chemistry from Penn State in 1999. Upon earning his doctorates, Primrose taught at a variety of institutions around the central Texas area including; Baylor University, University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, and West ISD, Primrose’s local hometown high school.

Freeman hired as new art and ceramics instructor at PCC

Pratt Community College is excited to announce the hiring of Kansas artist, Mark Freeman, as art and ceramics instructor. PCC welcomed Freeman just before the fall semester began and has hit the ground running as classes began Aug. 21.

Smith hired as Agriculture Instructor at PCC

Barrett Smith was hired as the new agriculture instructor this past August. He has been teaching students this fall semester in a variety of classes and topics such as Plant Science, Computers in Agriculture, Intro to Ag Business, Plant ID, and Sprayer Application Technology. He said his goal for every class he teaches is to help students love to learn.

“I like learning and I want students to enjoy learning,” said Smith. “It’s easier to enjoy learning while doing real world applications and learning how to apply knowledge outside the classroom.”
