DC3 and PCC partnership powers EPT Program

Following the April meeting of the Dodge City Community College Board of Trustees in which the trustees voted unanimously to eliminate the college’s Electrical Power Technology program, negotiations began between DC3 and Pratt Community College.

Dodge City Community College administration initiated discussions with officials from PCC administration and EPT faculty regarding assisting current DC3 EPT students to complete their remaining requirements for their certification or associate of applied science degree.

Kansas Community Colleges Agree to Global Reverse Transfer Agreement

TOPEKA – The Kansas Association of Community College Trustees (KACCT) and the Kansas Independent College Association (KICA) announced the successful negotiation of a global reverse transfer agreement between all eighteen private colleges and all nineteen community colleges. The agreement is expected to significantly boost the number of Kansans who earn at least an associate’s degree, which has been linked to higher lifetime incomes, lower unemployment, better health outcomes, and increased community involvement.

Lady Beavers finish season strong over Dodge City

The women's soccer team hosted their final game of the season yesterday, Oct. 18, at the Beaver Dam against Dodge City Community College. With the winds howling up to 50 miles per hour, the teams had a clear advantage for one half each as they attacked the south goal.

Pratt had the wind at their backs for the first half and failed to produce a goal, but not for lack of trying. The second half began scoreless with Dodge having the "wind advantage."
