Game 1: Beavers 1 Enid 6 Loss (13-20; conf 6-10)
The Beavers sent freshman Nathan Roth to the mound to start the day against Enid. Big Daddy Roth would only go 4.2 IP striking out 1 and allowing 5 runs (2 were earned). Following Big Daddy was sophomore Colton Glover (Shreveport, La), Grandpa, who went 0.2 IP allowing 0 runs. Coming in after Grandpa was Hayden Brauser who continued his solid freshman campaign by going 1.2 IP allowing 0 runs and 0 walks.
Game 1: Beavers 3 Colby 2 Win (8innings) (11-17 ;conf 5-8) The Beavers handed the ball to Kane McCarthy. McCarthy competed for five innings with subpar stuff, but kept the game at 1-1; a very manageable game. He was able to compete with his fastball and command it well enough to make up for his curveball not working. Coming into relief was freshman Hayden Brauser. The submarine pitcher did exactly what was needed by throwing a solid sixth inning of work. This allowed the Beaver offense the opportunity to take the lead.
