Game 3: Beavers 3 Seward 12 Loss (10-16; 3-8 conf) Sophomore Evan Payne took the mound as the Beavers looked to take a lead in the series. Evan would only last 1 inning allowing 5 runs. The Beavers then turned the ball over to Telemaco who pitched from the second inning to the sixth. Telemaco pitched well and allowed the Beavers to stay competitive throughout the game. Heading into the sixth, the Beavers turned the ball over to sophomore Logan Bertholf who gave up some runs. The Beaver offense was led once again by Suag and hard play by Co-captain Jacob Hamerle.
Game 1: Beavers 5 Seward 11 Loss (9-15; 2-7 conf) Beavers sent Kane McCarthy to the mound looking to keep his impressive pitching in the right direction. Kane pitched extremely well, although errors cost him his third win of the season. The Beavers would commit six errors on the game which completely took them out of competition. Without playing fundamental baseball, the Beaver offense wasn't able to catch up to the Seward offense. McCarthy would go 6 innings allowing 6 runs but only 3 were earned.
