Pratt Community College announces their hours for the Summer of 2017.

Summer hours begin Monday, May 22, 2017 and will extend through Friday, July 28, 2017. Operating business hours will be  7:45 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Friday.

Performing arts presents the first annual Alumni Concert

Pratt Community College performing arts is bringing back more than 50 alumni to unite with current students for an end of the year concert.
 
The concert will be held Sunday Apr. 9 at 2:30 p.m. in Carpenter Auditorium. Admission is $5 for community, students and PCC staff and faculty.
 
Performing arts instructor and show director, Misty Beck, says there was an irresistible demand from alumni and the community to put on a show featuring students and community from years past.
 

Save the date for the 2017 Annual Scholarship Auction

Save the date! Pratt Community College announces their Annual Scholarship Auction is set for Friday, Apr. 7, 2017. This is the 29th year for the auction which will be held at the 4-H building at the Pratt Fairgrounds. New Executive Director of Institutional Advancement & Alumni Relations and Foundation Director, Barry Fisher, will be leading this event boasting a night of fun, food and entertainmentt benefiting future students of PCC.

Former student lends credit to PCC years

A Pratt Community College former student gives credit to the foundation that was built while he went to school in Pratt. Doug Cramer, son of PCC Psychology and Sociology Instructor David Cramer, is now a Meteorologist at the National Weather Service in Springfield, Mo. and gives credit to his successful years in higher education because of what he learned while at PCC.

Back to the Dam: 2016 Annual Scholarship Auction

Calling all alumni, supporters and friends. Take a trip back in time and join Pratt Community College on Apr. 23 for the annual scholarship auction, a fundraiser that supports the scholarship fund for PCC students. This year the theme is “Back to the Dam” and the evening festivities include dinner, raffles, a silent auction and a live auction.

The event will be held at the Pratt 4-H Center and doors open at 6 p.m.

PCC Alumnus Honored

The American Association of Community Colleges recently selected former Pratt Community College student Joseph Searles III to receive the 2014 Outstanding Alumni Award. The award is given annually to former students from community colleges who are making outstanding contributions to their chosen career fields and to their communities. Searles and the other five Outstanding Alumni Award recipients will be recognized during an awards brunch at the AACC 2014 Annual Convention in Washington, D.C. next April.

PCC Welcomes New Foundation Director

Ann Ruder is returning to Pratt Community College as the new Foundation Director, and she is on a mission to connect with college students, alumni, and the surrounding community. The Foundation Director is responsible for initiatives related to college funding, grants, scholarships, and alumni engagement.

Ruder's first week on the job included a grant-writing workshop in Haysville, meeting with area banks and attorneys, and preparation for the PCC Student Welcome Picnic in August.
