Throughout the Fall 2020 semester several Pratt Community College (PCC) faculty were featured every Friday on social media. In case you missed it the features are included in this article.
On Feb 24, 750 students attended Pratt Community College’s annual Academic Olympics. The students came from 21 high schools around the state and competed in various scholastic, technical and artistic categories. The top three students in each category were awarded with certificates recognizing their achievement.
This year, event growth and improvement included the addition of competition categories in Spanish I and II and the skilled eye of local professional photographer Stan Reimer as a judge in the photography category.
Nearly 700 high school students are expected on Pratt Community College’s campus Feb. 24 for the annual Academic Olympics.
The students, from 21 area high schools, will take part in competitions and tests to see where they rank against their peers.
There are 56 competitions to choose from, ranging from welding to algebra to agriculture. Each student is able to pick three areas in which to compete.
