Adding, Dropping, and Withdrawal

Adding a Class

  1. Pick up an Add/Drop form from the Registrar's Office or from your Advisor and fill out the requested information.
  2. You have one full week after the first class period to add. You will need an Advisor's signature. If you want to add a class after the first full week of classes, you must obtain a signature from the Instructor and your Advisor, as well as the Dean of Instruction.
  3. Bring the form back to the Registrar's Office. This must be done within 5 days of when you picked up the form.
  4. Contact the Business Office about changes to your billing account.

Dropping a Class

  1. Pick up an Add/Drop form from the Registrar's Office or from your Advisor and fill out the requested information.
  2. To drop a class during the first full week of classes, you need your Advisor's signature. After the first full week of classes, you need signatures from your Advisor and the Instructor. After the 20th day of class and during the withdrawal window, you are guaranteed a "W." Once a class has reached 75% completion, you cannot process a withdrawal.
  3. Returns the form to the Registrar's Office with all required signatures no later than five days after the initiation date.
  4. Contact the Business Office about changes to your billing account.

 

Complete Withdrawal

  1. Pick up a Complete Withdrawal form from the Registrar's Office and fill out the requested information.
  2. Get signatures from your Advisor, all of your Instructors, the Director of Residence Life (if you live in the dorms), the Director of Financial Aid, the Director of the Bookstore (if you have a Book Scholarship), and the Business Office.
  3. Return the form to the Office of the Registrar.
  4. Contact the Business Office about your billing account.
