Nurse Aide

Nurse Aide courses are designed to prepare students for testing to become certified nurse aides and work in either a hospital or long term care facility.

• Student must be at least junior level in high school to receive credit hours
• Must provide copy of current TB test which may be obtained from the local health dept.or physician
• Allow enough time -- It takes 2 or 3 days to complete the test
• Must provide copy of Social Security card or drivers' license if SS# is on license 
• Textbook required 
• $20.00 KDHE fee needed on first day of class 
• $20.00 proctor fee due on day of State testing to be paid at PCC business office

The class is offered on the Pratt Campus, at several locations around the seven county service area and ONLINE.
