Nursing

The main goal of the nursing department is to prepare caring, compassionate and competent ADN nurses for the workforce. The actual nursing program is a two year intensive program with lots of clinical as well as theory. For those with prerequisties to finish or interest in the program, Pre-Nursing is the spot for you. The Nursing program at Pratt requires a seperate application from the main college application and often holds a waiting list.

Why Start with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)?
In many places the starting salary is the same as a nurse with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN). Gain nursing experience and RN salary while completing a BSN.
Nursing graduates from ADN program take the same licensure exam (NCLEX-RN) and consistently score higher.
